Any AVIT knowledge a big plus. Must hold AEC 2 absolute minimum. Cayman flagged, 296gt, full SEA via Camper and Nicholson. Good health insurance. Shared cabin. Captain is looking for someone with good previous longevity and references. Well over 350kW so will count towards your sea time for SV tickets. Cat C18 engines. Private only, family use - as it's new they're expecting a busy programme. First trips will be Baltic - Denmark, Sweden, Finland. Not the owner's first yacht, they like to travel a lot so expect a dual season itinerary. Owner is not super demanding and there's a relaxed environment when they're on board. Starting 1 July with a 10 day with the exiting build engineer (who is excellent - I know him!). Salary DOE but looking at 7500-8500USD full time (rotation salary tbc/negotiable). Before the role goes full time it will be 38 days leave per year pro rata. Nice modern boat with all the bells and whistles, seakeeper, stabilisers, adblue tanks, transatlantic range, full aluminium hull. Yacht will run with 7 crew, the others are UK, SA, Aus.
