Yacht details Location: Palma Type: Sail Length: 44m Usage: Private CREW VACANCY Job ID: 03676 44m SY Captain (Palma based) Private only Palma based yacht is seeking a new Captain. Full time, no rotation at this stage. Right now the boat is in the yard undergoing a huge refit! New mast and rigging. New generator, total rebuild of the engine, new wiring etc etc. All contracted out - a great time for the new captain to start as they'll be able to learn the yacht from the inside out as she's reassembled. Current captain is moving on after the yacht sold to new owners last year, all on very good terms. The yacht is private only, they're anticipating a relaunch mid/late July, then a bit of local cruising, then back to Palma for winter. Med summer and Palma winter again - yacht will be based here for at least the next two years - potentially a lot longer - and crew do go home when not on wath. Salary DOE, to be discussed with candidates directly. Euros. For safe manning they could run with as low as a 200gt ticket but they're looking for someone with good relevant seagoing experience.
