Captain's brief: Must haves - Strong Sailor is a must as we are always 'racing' with guests onboard - Ability to work independently including planning of maintenance in a given period - Good product and deck maintenance knowledge - Good all rounder, help in all departments!!!! - Positive attitude - Organisation skills - Easy going, personable and adaptable Non - Essentials but a bonus - Engineering knowledge (AEC1 + 2) - Shipyard experience - Managing contractors - Crossing experience I'm looking for someone that is looking for the 'next step' but has built solid skills already in various jobs but also that I can rely on to be able to step away and focus more on the planning of an upcoming refit this winter and to also trust so I can take some time off while the boat is in the yard and of course being a family style cruiser personality is a huge part of it! We are generally a busy programme which doesn't leave loads of time for training on new processes etc but am more than willing to give and share knowledge of things especially towards the engineering side. This makes it a super fun programme however where sailing is the #1 priority. Ideally looking for someone to start ASAP! We are currently in falmouth UK.
