I’m therefore looking for a multi talented crew member, who can maintain her on deck, engineering and interior, accompany me on sailing trips and make the odd cup of coffee. Although the crew have their own cabin and head, there’s no separate crew mess, so the crew member needs to be fun and friendly." Starting asap in the Med, the yacht will be based in Italy and he's looking for someone permanent. This summer he wants to cruise W Med: Corsica, Sardinia, Aeolian Islands, Sicily. At times he may bring some friends onboard but he's clear that they're all sailors and they will look after their own cabins, and cook for themselves. The crew member will be part of the trips. He says, "At lot of the time it’ll be me solo…..my work is unpredictable, so it would be great to know that the boat is ready to go and just get away when I have time, as well as the usual July/August summer cruise. A trip to the Baltic is possible; still thinking about that." Salary DOE, we're looking at 3.5k for someone more junior and up to 4.5k euros for someone with more experience. The candidate MUST have strong sailing skills, and good basic engineering (maintenance) skills, be responsible, and not be afraid to run the hoover round and keep the interior clean and tidy.
