Mallorca based candidates only (crew are Mallorca based). Captain says: "Candidates must have: • Previous yacht chef experience, ideally on charter vessels, or • Strong experience on busy private yachts. Due to the busy nature of the upcoming season, entry-level yacht chefs will not be considered. It would also be highly advantageous if the candidate: • Has previous experience provisioning in Mallorca • Has existing relationships with local suppliers • Is comfortable managing tight charter turnaround schedules The owner enjoys fresh, well-presented food that is simple and well executed. The successful candidate should be comfortable preparing a varied menu style that suits both owner trips and charter guests. The ability to produce: • Classic British-style dishes • Light Mediterranean cuisine • Modern international dishes Experience or interest in Asian / Asian-fusion cuisine would be highly appreciated.Responsibilities • Managing the galley as Sole Chef • Preparing meals for owner and charter guests • Cooking healthy, balanced meals for 6 crew • Provisioning and stock management • Maintaining a clean and organised galley • Delivering consistent, high-quality food throughout a busy charter season Personal Attributes We are looking for a chef who is: • Organised and efficient • Comfortable working independently • Able to perform well during busy charter periods • Positive, adaptable, and a good fit within a small crew environment This is a great opportunity for a professional chef looking for a busy but stable Mediterranean season based primarily in Mallorca."
