Its a private yacht, long-term owners with children, 5-6 crew total. They have an extensive 2 year world cruising itinerary planned & therefore don't have a ‘home base'. A Nanny travels with the family & joins the crew onboard when the children come. She will assist with interior duties. Lastly, many of the crew have been aboard for years and everyone gets stuck in helping with whatever is needed. Definitely a team environment. Regarding the role: They’re looking for someone who is organised and runs a professional interior, while being easy-going enough to work closely with a small, tight crew. Sailing interest/experience is a plus and there are opportunities to get involved on deck when guests aren't aboard, but interior competence and reliability come first. Salary DOE. 42 days leave. Crew have access to course training funds & automatic annual salary increases after 12 months. Ideally, they will be available for short handover with the departing stew in mid-February, though they have flexibility & will wait until they find the right person. Standard STCW and ENG1 required.
