Looking for experienced Captain/Engineer & Chef/Mate/Stew Couple. Owner has had the yacht 5+years and has run it as a mix of private and light charter. Yacht currently in the UK for winter (on the hard). The usual home port is Palma, Mallorca. New couple to start May 2026 for the next Atlantic loop - Ideally looking for a crew who are looking to learn and develop with the programme and who are interested in committing to the next three seasons - Med 2026, Atlantic crossing with the ARC in Nov 2026, Caribbean 2026/2027, return to Med via Azores May 2027 and another Med season summer 2027. Last couple were with the programme 3 years. Salary DOE but above industry standard. Crew profiles: Captain / Engineer would have 1-2 years minimum experience on vessel of similar size, solid engineering / maintenance credentials (yacht is run on a high maintenance budget so that she can be put in offshore mode), offshore experience (e.g. Atlantic crossings, offshore deliveries), strong organisation and a professional friendly manner to interact with guests. Chef/First mate: clearly when in charter mode they need to be able to deliver the gold standard food service but as the yacht really does require two strong sailors to manage the vessel, this position also needs someone with reasonable hands on deck experience, confident holding solo watches and supporting the Captain in all aspects re sailing. Professional, organised, proactive and able to balance the chef-first mate role. About the owners: family of 4, keen sailors, love being on the water. UK based 10mths a year, spend Jul/Aug in USA - which is when the yacht will charter. They will do trips June, Sept, Oct. They don't charter heavily. And they aim for 4-5 days between trips for the crew to decompress, and keep up with maintenance and prep etc. It's a happy, professional work environment.
