Looking for a Mate who will be able to cover the Captain. This is a very cool opportunity for someone keen to step up. YM Off/Ocean required as a minimum. Must have strong sailing experience and be a genuine team player as they run with a crew of 4. Owner has very high standards and expects professionalism. Engineering experience is required. Male due to cabin arrangements. This winter they'll be in Palma, then summer will be Med Cruising, next winter either Palma or Caribbean. 2027 there's talk of a world cruise and potentially a larger yacht so this could be a stepping stone for the relief capt to then move up to the other yacht. Lots of room for growth. Working under a highly experienced captain who will train, mentor, and be available during his off time for questions. Solid crew. This winter is a great time to get to know the yacht as there's no guest trips and just standard maintenance being carried out. Plan is for the Mate to be Captain for min 3 months of the year solo. No racing on the horizon this year. Owner trips are max 2 weeks at a time with 2-6 guests. Salary DOE - looking at up to 6k for mate, and then up to 9k when relief captain.
