Yacht details Location: Mallorca Type: Motor Length: 34m Usage: Both Crew: 5-7 CREW VACANCY Job ID: 03559 34m MY Chief Stew (Mallorca Based) Starting Springtime in Palma! Private and charter, single season vessel based on the island. They're looking for a Chief Stew with good experience on different yachts, ideally a little on larger yachts as they're keen to maintain their high standards and excellent charter reputation. The chief will lead and train the 2nd Stew who will be seasonal (they'll be leading the recruitment of this role in the Spring). The pay is really DOE €5k+, 42 days leave and it's a permanent role, as the yacht is based in Mallorca, winters are M-F with most weekends off (obvs depending on watch sched). For this reason they'd love to find a CS with a base/life here to join them. The other crew are all based here with partners/families. The captain is British, the other crew are SA and Euro. They will also hire a deckhand seasonally who will help on the interior. Owner is quite particular with service and housekeeping - as mentioned he expects high standards. He is keen to ensure crew are well looked after and happy, takes mental health seriously. He really appreciates attention to detail, he likes to see nice table layouts and contemporary flower design. The summer season is busy with private and charter - they may do 7 weeks of each, usually around the Balearics, Sardinia and SoF. The captain maintains a healthy environment on board, they are looking for someone fit and healthy who enjoys this kind of lifestyle. Hikes, bikes, water sports, swimming etc. The chef cooks heart healthy and lighter meals for the crew. Obvs you can eat/drink what you like off the boat but onboard they are aiming for a good healthy atmosphere. Really keen to find someone for the long term to settle in.
