Yacht details Location: Pacific Type: Sail Length: 52m Usage: Private Crew: 8 CREW VACANCY Job ID: 03685 52m SY Bosun Looking for a keen, active and fit sailor with YM Offshore and 2-3 years solid experience as a deckhand or bosun on 40-50m SYs. She runs three on deck, chief mate, the bosun and a deck/stew who has been onboard for a few years now. The CO and D/S are female, they're looking for a male bosun due to cabins. 8 permanent crew, most UK, really good longevity. The role is full time, MLC leave, above industry standard pay and a 5000 euro/year training allowance. She is private, light owner use but runs mini ISM. Currently in Tahiti, plans to cruise French Polynesia until November and possibly NZ after that. Sailing experience is really key as she was built to race (although no longer has a race program) and is moderately technical. ASAP start as CO would love for them to get a handover with current bosun before he leaves but absolute deadline is end of July as that is the next guest trip. Current bosun just achieved his OOW and is moving on for an office position.
